By all accounts the Cleveland fans were good and had everything in perspective.

It was nice that they didn't throw anything, bother the Spur fans & family, and didn't boo loudly if at all during the ceremony. They seemed fairly classy to me. Especially compared to Phx. & Utah. They might have gotten worse if the series had been closer, but it didn't seem like it. I don't think they really expected a win.

They DID boo -- loudly and clearly.

Otherwise, they seemed ok.

Edit: I'm sure it was just a handful who hung around to do so, though. The majority had probably left.

I know I have a buddy from Cleveland who emailed me the day the Cavs made the finals.

He said "Congratulation on another Spurs trophy"....

Even though he was rooting for them, the expectation that they would actually win just was unimaginable to him.

I think a lot of the Cav fans knew from the outset they were overmatched and really didn't expect a victory in this finals.

But congratulations to them for being the Eastern Champs. Even that has to be something to cheer about if you live in Cleveland, what with all the teams that have just almost made it.
