Le dedico este triunfo a mi señora, mi hija, mi mejor amigo Gaby que desde el cielo siempre nos acompaña, en todos los campeonatos ha estado conmigo. Estos últimos años han sido bien duro y mis amigos siempre han estado ahí apoyando para ellos también va este triunfo. Al final del juego salía abrazar a Manu y nos gritábamos el nombre el uno al otro.
Me imagino que toda Argentina debe estar muy feliz por esto y en especial Córdoba. Por la concentración que tuve durante esta serie final no he tenido tiempo de leer lo que dicen los diarios, pero ahora voy a tener más tiempo para disfrutar.
Las marcas que hacia en mis zapatillas se trataban del sobre nombre que le tengo a mi hija “chucho”, creo que soy el único loco que le puede poner ese apodo a su hija. También tenia una series de signos de suma (+), que me hacían recordar que siempre debía estar positivo no importa la que pasara. Tengo la marca del siete y las iniciales de mi esposa, mi hija y Gaby. Todas esas marcas también las escribí en mi camiseta de campeón que ahora está llena de champagne.
La gente me preguntaba la comparación de este título con el oro olímpico. Es muy diferente, la selección es un poco más compacto y uno se juega la vida en un solo partido. Aquí llevamos nueve meses jugando y debimos ganar 16 juegos para salir campeones. Pero igual la sensación de ser campeón es inigualable.
La definición del partido al final fue extraordinaria, hacer cosas importantes cuando un juego está parejo es muy gratificantes, ahora si lo pones en esta magnitud donde nos estábamos jugando el título, no hay como describirlo, aquella jugada donde anoto los dos puntos y me comenten una falta, creo que desequilibró el partido a nuestro favor.
A toda la gente en Latinoamérica, España y en especial a mis compatriotas argentinos que me acompañaron y leyeron este blog durante mis primeras finales de la NBA, les mando un abrazo y les doy las gracias por enviarme esa buena energía de todas partes.

I dedicate this triumph to my wife and daughter, my best friend Gaby who always accompanies us from heaven, in every championship he has been with me. These last years have been really hard and my friends always have been there supporting me, this triumph goes for them as well. At the end of the game I went to embrace to Manu and we shouted our names to each other.
I imagine that all Argentina must be very happy because of this, specially in Cordoba. Because of the concentration which I had during this final series I have had no time to read what the newspapers say, but now I am going to have more time to enjoy.
The marks at the sides of my sporting shoes were the nickname of my daughter "chucho", I think I am the only crazy person who can put that nickname to his daughter. I also scratch a series of sum signs (+), that made me remember that I always had to stay positive, no matter what. I have the mark of the 07 and initials of my wife, my daughter and Gaby.
I also wrote those marks in my t-shirt of champion which is full of champagne. People asked me to compare this title with Olympic gold. It is very different, the NT is a little more compact and your life goes in a single game. Here we had been nine months playing and we had to win 16 games to be the champions.
But anyway, the sensation of being champion is matchless. The definition of the game in the end was extraordinary, to make things important when a game is even is very rewarding, now if you put it in perspective where we were gambling the title, there's no way to describe it. That play where I score two points and1, I believe that unbalanced the game to our favor.
To all people in Latin America, Spain and in special to my Argentine compatriots who accompanied me and read this blog during these final series I send you a hug and I thank to them to send that good energy to me from everywhere.
