im not talking the team that has the highest chance of winning, but the highest chance of knocking us out.

i'd probly have to go with the Mavs. i think they will be pissed, and will make the right moves along with motivation of this year's failure and be a dominant force in the league. check out the other options

Suns can't beat the Spurs. Parker > Nash. Dallas has shown that they can, their Jekyll and Hyde nature be damned.

I'm going with the Suns. That was a tough, close series, and the Suns are going to be motivated to redeem themselves, and they (unlike Dirk) have the cajones to do so.

That is, of course, unless they do something like trade Marion for peanuts or something. Nothing less than a Sheed-quality player will be considered an utter disaster if they trade Marion.

The Nash Suns have never beaten San Antonio and they never will because they can't win the PG matchup. Hate on Dirk all you want but he and his team have.

No way you can predict this before draft and offseason moves. And I would also say that this is largely dependent on the whole Kobe situation as well. Whatever happens there could shake things up considerably.

if the heat can get a good draft pick and they do smethin in the offseason they could give the spurs a run for there money

Some people keep forgetting even though we lost to Dallas last year: both Manu and Duncan were injuried!

I could've sworn Many played in all seven games and played pretty well. And Duncan threw down a 32 and 13 on us. I've had plantar fasciitis before, it hurts like hell but you can play on it. And I didn't have the Spurs medical staff giving me round the clock treatment for it. If you play into late May/June, you're banged up. It's not like the Mavericks were at their freshest.

well just have to wait to till the playoffs to figure that out, a good record does not matter in the playoffs thats been proven, and alot of teams tend to choke!!!

from what i hear the bulls are looking into getting shawn marion if they do they might be scary!!!

supposedly, the suns are looking to trade kurt thomas. which means that duncan will average 40 if they face each other and amare will foul out of every game.

The Suns are trying to trade Kurt Thomas for Camby.

That's the only move I've heard involving KT so far.

its gotta be dallas because we still have not beaten this dallas in a playoff series.

but bigger threats:

1. Injury (knock on wood)

that's it...

I think if Utah can get someone that can at least contain Manu a little bit, we will be right there. Especially if AK grows a pair and Okur lights a fire in his belly.

That'll kill what little chemistry they already have.

Unless they blow the Mavs team up in the offseason, they have to be the one that would give us the most trouble repeating.

I think the Nuggets after figuring out exactly the right way to play Carmello and AI together could pose some problems too.

The Spurs own the Suns and will as long as they play that run n gun fashion ball.

Out of the East, I think Bulls could be a force. Again, with some help the Cavs will be right up there. Miami could tweak things a bit and come on strong once more. Oh, and look out for the Magic....This could be the year Howard dominates the East.

As usual, it will be a tough road to reach the Finals again. But I think if we get there, we can beat whoever comes out of the East again.

The biggest threat is the team itself.

I'm not even voting on this poll. No team is a threat to the Spurs next year. Expect them to dominate AND finish it off with a championship. Their confidence and mindset is back to 100%.
