LeBron James - Although he couldn't get his jump shot to fall, I still give him a B. With the team defense predominantly shifted towards Lebron, he didn't have many opportunities to get into the paint and get in rhythm. He repeatedly got his teammates open looks, but they couldn't respond. Despite this, the Cavs still had more assists in the series than the Spurs. Turnovers were problematic, but that's directly related to the amount of defensive pressure placed on him. As for his defense, besides a few lapses, he did a great job.

Larry Hughes - C- Injury coupled with poor shooting. 'Nough said.

Drew Gooden - C Still extremely inconsistent. He wasn't able to hit his face-up J that he's knocked down all season for some reason. Repeatedly caught out of position on defense and his help defense was equal to that of a blind man.

Z. Ilgauskas - C+ Game one he was an absolute no-show. Offensively he struggled to get into good position and went to his "hook" shot way too often. Z is one of the best big man shooters from the 10-16 foot range, but he camped on the blocks too often. He had some great offensive boards, which usually translate to points, but with the Cavs shooting so poorly they were negated. Defensively he had no answer for the younger, quicker Tim Duncan. Z is still "weak" around the rim on both ends.

Sasha Pavlovic C - He had some real bright spots, but a lot of dark spots too. Some times he'd make an amazing play at the rim or a great jumper, making us all see glimpses of what will be a gifted talent in the league, but he's still extremely edgy at times. He needs to slow it down a little and look to drive and dish more. His defense was a mixture of good and terrible. Several times he was flat out beat by the offensive player.

Daniel Gibson B- Offensively he struggled in this series, but he hit some big shots for the Cavs still (and missed a lot). For a second round pick, and a little dude, I've been very impressed with his play. His on-the-ball defense has been pretty stellar actually, and he stays in front of his man 80% of the time. I consider that good for a undersized guard in his rookie season.

Donyell Marshall C- Besides scoring some in Game 4 in the fourth quarter, no one has missed as many open threes as Donyell. Defensively, he finds himself out of position way too much.

Rest of team C - So Damon Jones and Eric Snow. DJ didn't much to "spread the floor" which is why he was out there. Defense isn't worth mentioning. Eric snow did a good job of being a leader (he is the only Cav with prior finals experience). His defense was good, but not as good as it has been. Offense isn't worth mentioning.

Mike Brown C- - Out-coached and out-smarted by his old boss. Although a few changes he made worked, many changes did not or simply were never made. Offensively, he is still terrible. Get Lebron on the blocks! Defensively, at times we saw how good the Cavs were on defense (it's just too bad the offense could not have helped out). He needs an offensive assistant and a new shooting coach.
