McGrady is the most polished of the SFs in the League. If you have a couple of really good rebounders/shotblockers to make up for his softness/lack of defense, then he'll help you far and away more than any other SF. His offensive game is limited only as much as he is willing to settle.

much like the rest of the nba fans out there, you fail to realize defense is just as important as offense.

Bruce isnt unstoppable, he stops people all the time.

no celtics fans here.
Pierce is a little overrated considering he is #1 option while howard is #2 option on the mavs.

Okay, well let me rephrase then: What is the rationale for claiming Howard > Pierce? I've also noticed he's got more votes than Carmelo. I'm a Mavs fan and I loves me some J-Ho, but I'm not a homer.

Carmelo. He was terrific on the USA team last summer under Coach K. Too bad he can't seem to follow-up in Denver the same way!

Carmelo by a mile; and he is only 22 years old. He can shoot the jumper and post him too and takes it to the basket strong. He is learning to shoot the 3 also, if he adds that to his repertoire he can become unstoppable.

explain who is better than Anthony on this list? The kid averaged almost 30 points this year?

Come back when the only thing that matters is scoring.

Guess you did not know that Lebron is the better rebounder, passer, he turns the ball over fewer times, shoots better from behind the arc, and he averages more steals and blocks.

But hey, Carmelo averaged 1.6 more PPG than Lebron, HE MUST BE THE BETTER PLAYER.

Lebron has the ball more than Melo, so he has to be a better passer, he is their defacto point guard. And Yeah against the Spurs looks at Melo's numbers and then look at Lebrons, and come back and talk to me about who is better!

So the only thing that Lebron was really better was at assists which is given since he is their point guard, and his rebounding was 2 more per game, but that should be given since he plays in the East and only plays west teams twice a year, which means most small forwards he only plays twice unlike Melo. And don't talk about blocks....it's 0.7 for James and 0.4 for Melo. And the steals are about the same too...1.6 for Lebron and 1.0 for Melo. Yes he shoots better 3's but Melo shoots 10% percent higher from the Line. Blocks for James this year 0.7 and for Melo 0.4.

Ummmm........Wow

Moron in the house

umm...because he was hurt most of the year and no one knows if he'll come back the same player? Dude has totally fallen off the map since his injury. And his team sucks. The best SF is Lebron - but I voted for Pierce. Bron's got way too many votes, thought I'd even things up a little.
