I'd like to say youre full of shit, but as weak as this is, it's still a better take than anyone else has brought in awhile. We could beat a lot of teams during this 9 year run, but we couldnt seem to get passed that damn team. (.4)

It's a shame Kobe and shaq act like children.

If we repeat, those laker teams will be a distant memory.

The Showtime Lakers basically own everyone. Spurs are about as great a team you are going to see over a nine year span with the way expansion is in todays game.

We're not done yet.

Come back when Duncan stops putting on a Spur uniform.

Kobe is a cancer and you guys will never make it back to another finals before he retires.

3 to 2 is not owned.

The Lakers were lucky they never faced a healthy Spurs team during that threepeat.

I think he was talking about Magic's Lakers, since they were known as the showtime Lakers.

2040 might be a good year for them to start the comeback the way things are going right now.

You'd tie the Lakers, but since we had to battle the Celtics we still get the edge. :smokin

Hasn't history already shown you. The Lakers are always just a small step away. Like I said enjoy your day in the sun.

With the luxury tax there won't likely be anybody who can amass the talent that the old Celtics and Lakers had unless a Cuban, Paul Allen or Dolan is willing to empty the vault. Success going forward will have to be measured with a different scale.

He's talking about the Showtime Lakers of the 1980's with Magic and Kareem. Not the Fab Four Lakers.

False...Threepeat Lakers > Bird Celtics, and that's who we had to contend with.

Shaq asked to be traded so he only had to play Tim Duncan twice a year instead of four.

:lol at the lack of reading comprehension in this thread.

The Spurs would need two more championships to pass the Showtime Lakers.

That I can write that previous sentence and actually have it be germane to a real-life basketball topic is unreal to me.
