I don't know if anything like this has been posted yet, but I was thinking about that great save in the corner by Duncan where it looks like he may have stepped out of bounds before releasing the ball. I was wondering if TD had gotten away with one there, so I decided to watch the replay again. I viewed the crucial moment frame-by-frame in HD, and the ball was clearly out of his hand before his foot touched the floor out of bounds. The refs made the right call by letting play continue.

Just thought you'd all like to know. :toast

Yeah we checked out the rewind after the game was over and saw that it was good. That was a really sick save by Duncan.

Duncan was only 4-15 from the field with 12 points, but he grabbed 15 rebounds and in addition to that incredible save, he had that HUGE steal off LeBron with 2:19 left that led to an easy Oberto bucket.

Tim Duncan was not going to be denied that fourth ring! :toast

Duncan turned it up when it mattered most.
His shot was off the whole night but he did things, like that save, that won the game.

Did Dirk pay attention to any of that? Finding ways to contribute when you aren't scoring very well?

I'm really glad you cleared that up, people were literally fighting in the streets about this very issue...

Six of the rebounds, a steal, some deflections, the save......all in the 4th quarter!

TIM is still the MAN!

It's a real treat to see the Spurs players, who are so often at 80%, turn it up that final notch when it really counts.
