I dont usually post a lot here but i do read all your comments guys. I was just wondering if you think the NBA has ever seen a big three as the spurs have right now, lead by Tim, Tony and Manu. I dont want to forget the role of bruce bowen which has been HUGE but i just try to count on the offense role rather than the defensive one which wins championships by the way.

Really, most of the teams from the 80īs and before have a bigger three, simply because of how much more the talent was concentrated back then.

I think after winning a championship we could count them as a big three, i think what makes you valuable and important is to see how far they made it, if you win or you just will be remembered as a regular good big three.

Rodman would be "the Bowen" in that team.
It should be Jordan/Pippen/Kukoc...or Kerr...or Harper...or Longley....or anyone else open for a shot.

Big whop -- "...teammates that united for two great seasons with the Houston Rockets - 1996-97, when they made it all the way to the Western Conference Finals against the Utah Jazz; and 1997-98, when they lost a tough 5-game first-round series to those same Jazz. In a unique pose that exudes confidence and greatness..." yeah and no fucking rings.

TP and Manu are great but Duncan makes the diference with any other big 3 except the betters big3 of the history to me.
Magic/Worthy/Kareem and Jordan/Pippen/Kukoc are better than our big 3.
About trios with only two great, great players I think that we only have one great, great player (TD) and two great (but not top10 in the NBA) players.

We have a big 3 that has taken over the league in the last 5 years.
3 rings + 2 "almost rings" = 5 years. I think the last time a big 3 was so dominating was Jordan/Pippen/Grant
I saw a lot of trios you guys posted above but only about 5 of them you can count as BIG.

What about this trio: Kobe/Shaq/Payton/George/Malone/Fisher? they can score in less than 0.4 seconds.
