Pop is hard fucking core. Telling a bunch of old ladies and toddlers that we kicked ass gets my thumbs up.

More than any of the others...I think this one was his championship...his coaching, his adjustments made the biggest difference. Telling the guys he wasn't going to trade them...just awesome. I didn't think this team was built to win a title...Pop knew better.

Hopefully Elson and Oberto would have gotten more run...even if Horry didn't.


I think it's pretty obvious Oberto could have had an impact last season, with the way Dirk plays D? And I thought this after the 2 min of PT he got against the Mavs in that series..

And I distinctly remember Pop saying that stint earned Oberto some more minutes against the Mavs in the next game...but they never came.
