Who would you like to see them play?

Personally I think it would be nice for us to see them beat the Mavs.

Suns

At first thought I agreed with you but after thoughtful consideration I would like for us to play in Phoenix for the 2nd game of the season.

Does anyone know when the schedules for next season will be released?

They'll probably do the Suns.

I think early in August, but not completley sure.

I don't care whether its the Suns or the Mavs, but it needs to be one of them

As long as we dont do a Heat Style opener.

Yeah, as long as it's not the Cavs I'll be happy. That was some ugly bball in Cleveland.

They usually do championship rematches, but as there was far more interest in the Spurs/Suns series, I wouldn't be suprised to see that be the leadoff game.

It's gotta be the Suns.

I'm gonna guess the following

Suns at Spurs
Mavericks at Warriors
Pistons at Bulls
Heat at Cavaliers
Hawks at Bucks

I will go out on a limb and say Portland. They will almost surely take Greg Oden. What better way for the NBA to introduce the next big thing by having the young and upcoming Blazers play the champs on opening night. Followed by a rematch of Mavs @ Warriors.

Opener will be a double header.

Suns @ Spurs, then Mavs @ Warriors.

I would pay to see Spurs vs Heat for the opener. Some experts are picking the Heat to make it to the finals in 2008.

Wow, I think I'd rather take the Atlanta Hawks than the Heat, honestly.

Suns/Spurs as the openly game of the season.

They love the Cleveland Chicago series for National TV, I would guess that for the Cavs and the Suns for the Spurs for sure

Who is picking the Heat to make the Finals? I expect them to make it given that with a healthy Wade and Shaq no one in the East can beat them. I am just surprised that they have made picks so early. That is one team to watch to see what moves they make in the offseason.

I hope we get the Spurs in the opener.

Jumaine Jones will go off for 10 points and 4 rebounds.

Recently they've made it the champs against the team they beat in the first round, so if that pattern continues it'll be us against the Nuggets as it was to start 05-06.

Remember Robinson's first NBA Game?

Wasn't it against Magic's Showtime Lakers?

25 Points
17 Rebounds
5 Assists
3 Blocks

Something like that.... I'm not sure Oden's offensive game is as polished as D-Rob's was but it would suck to lose the season opener to a Rookie's ball-club.
