...the largest military offensive, in Iraq, since the invasion.

The Battle of Iraq - 2007 (http://billroggio.com/archives/2007/06/the_battle_of_iraq_2.php)

Five days after the announcement of major offensive combat operations against al Qaeda in Iraq and its allies, the picture becomes clearer on the size and scope of the operation. In today's press briefing, Rear Admiral Mark noted that the ongoing operation is a corps directed and coordinated offensive operation. This is the largest offensive operation since the first phase of Operation Iraqi Freedom ended in the spring of 2003.

I've been reading about it in the BWM (backwater media) NYTimes and WP for a few days already. extensive coverage. go fuck yourself.

Also note that the sacred Green Zone is getting mortared daily, a sure sign the surge is working.

I predict that Fox News will temporarily resume reporting on the war in Iraq.

And furthermore:
I think the problem has been, to a large degree, that too many people who have absolutely no need to know have demanded to know how we are going to fight this war.

Either it is a just war and those who are charged with prosecuting it should be left to do so, or; it is an unjust war and those who believe so should work to stop it. Chewing over the particular strategy is not working toward either of those objectives.

So even if the MSM were ignoring this story, that's exactly what Yoni thinks they should do.

Fucking hypocrite asshole.
