There are certain sections of this blog. Read the title of the section to see if you're interested in it. Please if you have any questions hit me up or hit up a church! This blog was to inform people about information they may not know a lot about or information they have questioned.
God is a Trinity
See God is a Trinity, meaning he is one God but in 3 persons, like I have one body but 3 important organs (brain, heart, lungs). The brain communicates to the heart and lungs yet the whole body functions as one. Its all co efficient and co eternal ect… Just like God, you have God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit as its only one God but in 3 distinct persons. God is of one essence and self sufficient (fulfilled with in him self) as well. Going back to the Human Body metaphor, each organ has a job but one overall purpose. The same goes for our amazing God. God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit each is distinct and has certain jobs but one over all purpose. See our brain, heart and lungs are each organs but yet its still one human body.
Jesus/ how can we get to heaven and know God
So now you might ask "how does Jesus fit in to the picture". Well Jesus is God the Son. He is the Messiah. See once God created humans we sinned. And Sin can't be near God because it offends him. So if you sin you have to go to hell. Since we are all sinners we need a savior from hell. That's why God the son manifested him self in to human form being fully human and fully God and lived a sin free life to be put upon the cross with all of our sins and died, then he rose 3 days later and freed us from sin. So now "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. Its one thing to know of a God but it's another thing to know who he is personally. See once you accept Christ as your lord and savior you will be baptized by the Holy Spirit. Your body then becomes a temple for God. You then want to not to sin so you can become closer to God. You want to read his word, learn more and worship him at church. You want to be involved in a ministry to help people as well as helping people come to now our great and loving God.
He loves us so much
Think about it, God loves us so much that For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life John 3:16. Think about that. God loves us so much that he created us and wanted a personal relationship with us so much that he did this. This is just incredible. His love is ever lasting. He loves his children, his creation that's why we are in his image. He is Great!
The Bibles Accuracy
Now some might ask, is the Bible 100 percent true? Some might ask was it written by men or God? Well first let me point out a huge fact! There were over 300 prophecies(predictions) in the Old Testament that Jesus full filled! That is incredible. Do you realize how accurate the Bible is? How hard that would be for any man to predict that? Here are some prophecies and predictions on who the messiah would be…
The Old Testament said the messiah would
Be born in Bethlehem Micah 5:2
His ministry would be world wide Isaiah 49:6.
Foreshadows Jesus's Ministry Isaiah 61
His side would be pierced Zechariah 12:10
Description of the crucifixion psalms 22
He would speak in parables Isaiah psalm 78:2,6:9-10
He would be in Davids line Gen 12:1-3, 7
Would be born from a virgin Isaiah 7:14
This sounds a lot like Jesus to me. All of theses have been full filled and this is just the start of it. There is so many verses that have come true. Heck just look at the end of times in the Bible and now look at whats happening in the world today. Its crazy, how could the Bible just make up that Israel would one day be a nation again and that Russian and Iran would build an Alliance and such? first off, its important to know how the bible came to be. so you ask who wrote the bible...well, The Bible was written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit by over 40 different authors from all walks of life: shepherds, farmers, tent-makers, physicians, fishermen, priests, philosophers and kings. Despite these differences in occupation and the span of years it took to write it, the Bible is an extremely cohesive and unified book. the whole bible does not once contradict its self. and it all states the same foundation. the second thing you might want to ask is "how was the bible formed"?
well the old testament was canonized(made) before Christ. the first 5 books of the old testament were written by mosses. these books were brought together and made...now you may think ok what about the new testament..well the new testament was written AD.
all of the books in the new testament became canonized. there was a council to decide which books were to be put in the bible and they all had to have these two things in common, First, the books must have apostolic authority-- that is, they must have been written either by the apostles themselves, who were eyewitnesses to what they wrote about, or by associates of the apostles.
Second, there was the criterion of conformity to what was called the "rule of faith." In other words, was the document congruent with the basic Christian tradition that the church recognized as normative.
there is still authentic manuscripts that are still around today, the actual written documents. There are over 5,600 early Greek Manuscripts of the New Testament that are still in existence. The oldest manuscripts were written on papyrus and the later manuscripts were written on leather called parchment.
Common sense
If we are organized we have an organizer. If theres a picture then theres a painter. If we have a conscious then we know theres a law of right and wrong. Seriously do you realize how complicated everything is? How everything is such to a detail? From our reproduction system to our earth being at the only point where we have just enough sun light and rotation ect...Its obvious that we were made by God.
What should we do?
So as you can see through this bit of information the Bible is unlike any book. So I want to ask every one who reads this and that isn't saved or if they don't believe what his word says to message me so we can talk. Seriously to get close with GOD you gotta continue to pray, read your Bible daily and go to church. When you get to a certain age try to be in some type of ministry as well! God made us to glorify him and fellowship!
LIVE FOR HIM, ITS THE LEAST WE CAN DO!

All I gotta say is...I don't believe in god...but if there is a god...and he is omnipotent and omnipresent...if he is all knowing and is everywhere...there can't just be ONE way to get to him.
There are many paths to god...call it jesus, joseph smith, mohammad, moses...whatever you want..but it's all the same ending.

How do you explain the 300 prophecies that Jesus full filled? Again the Old Testament was written hundreds of years before Christ...
lets take a look at just 8 of the prophecies
Messiah would...
1. Be Born in Bethlehem Micah 5:2
( “ But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
Though you are little among the thousands of Judah,
Yet out of you shall come forth to Me
The One to be Ruler in Israel,
Whose goings forth are from of old,
From everlasting.”)
2. A King on Donkey Zechariah 9:9
( “ Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion!
Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem!
Behold, your King is coming to you;
He is just and having salvation,
Lowly and riding on a donkey,
A colt, the foal of a donkey.)
3. Betrayed for 30 Pieces of Silver....Zech 11:12
( Then I said to them, “If it is agreeable to you, give me my wages; and if not, refrain.” So they weighed out for my wages thirty pieces of silver.)
4. Temple Potter ect...Zech 11:13 (And the LORD said to me, “Throw it to the potter”—that princely price they set on me. So I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw them into the house of the LORD for the potter.)
5. He will have wounds in his hands Zech 13:6( And one will say to him, ‘What are these wounds between your arms?’[a] Then he will answer, ‘Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.’)
6. He would have no defense yet be innocent Isaiah 53:7
( He was oppressed and He was afflicted,
Yet He opened not His mouth;
He was led as a lamb to the slaughter,
And as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
So He opened not His mouth.)
7. Died with the wicked yet buried with the rich Isaiah 53:9
(And they[a] made His grave with the wicked—
But with the rich at His death,
Because He had done no violence,
Nor was any deceit in His mouth.)
8. Be Crucified Psalms 22:16
(For dogs have surrounded Me;
The congregation of the wicked has enclosed Me.
They pierced[a] My hands and My feet;)
Chances of this happening to one person is 1:10,000

NOW THINK ABOUT 300 prophecies...what are the chances?
Not to mention the re emergance of Israel

You are right in saying, there is only one path to God!
I never said there was only one path to god...I said if he is omnipotent and omnipresent, there can't be one path.
Not to mention the re emergance of Israel.
If it wasn't for the United States, Britain, and Europe...Israel wouldn't even exist. Besides considering how many Palestinians were forced from their land and have had their human rights violated, I doubt god would ever condone this kind of Zion.

Let me expand on that as well,
Basically we have all lied right?
Meaning we are all liars, if some one murdered some one then you call them a murderer right?
We have all lusted before and according to Jesus if we lust then we commit adultery with that person in our heart, so we are all what? Adulterers,
this is how high God's standard is, so if any one brakes it they would go to hell because the bible says all liars, thieves, murderers ect. will all have there part in the lake of fire....SO basically every one is screwed right? But God loved us so much, even though we do so much wrong he still wanted to make a way that we could be with him for eternity. So God the Son came down fully human and fully God and lived a sin free life, was put upon the cross with all of sin and conquered death and sin. See his blood was shed over our sin but we have to accept it. Salvation is by grace.
*John 3:16 For God so loved the world he gave his only son that who ever believe in him will not perish but have ever lasting life.
*Romans 10:9 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is the lord and believe that God raised him from the dead you will be saved!
Its all about grace( relationship)! Think about it, We as humans screwed up but God still made a way for us to enter into the kingdom of God. And he was Crucified, it is the only way! He truly is love.

I never said there was only one path to god...I said if he is omnipotent and omnipresent, there can't be one path.
my bad, miss read it! Why couldnt there only be one way to him. The Bible says many times that Jesus is the only way, the koran has 5 pillars to get to heaven... they both cant be right. So the Holy Bible has predicted over 300 verses on who the messiah would be, Jesus full filled all of them. The Holy Bible predicted the re emergance of Israel. The Holy Bible has even predicted a relationship between Iran and Russia and them invading Israel in the last days, if you look at the news you would see its happening.
If it wasn't for the United States, Britain, and Europe...Israel wouldn't even exist. Besides considering how many Palestinians were forced from their land and have had their human rights violated, I doubt god would ever condone this kind of Zion

As a Bible-believing Christian myself, I would like to point out that Jesus had intimate knowledge of Scripture, including the prophecies about the Messiah, so any willful action He took which fulfilled prophecy about the Messiah was not improbable.
And I agree with gtown, Dispensationalism and Pre-Trib aren't my cup of tea. I lean toward the Reformed view of God having a single plan of salvation progressively revealed over time until Christ's resurrection, which completed it.

Fine, be contrary. But, I was only arguing against the point that Jesus had the benefit of knowing the scriptures to help him fulfill them.
Some of the prophesies were fulfilled merely in his birth, death, and resurrection.

the big problem, of course, is that we are forced to believe he fulfilled all these things based on the same book that prophesized that they would occur. it's like reading a book in which a soothsayer says a hero will slay the dragon and, whattaya know, by the end of the book, that hero has slain that there dragon.
not to mention why is the revelation given out by 40 some-odd writers over a period of years? god knows what's going to happen, and it would be far more miraculous to have it all spill out of one guy, particularly had that one person just been abraham, further making that lineage impressive.
and no, i don't agree with this:
He loves us so much
Think about it, God loves us so much that For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life John 3:16. Think about that. God loves us so much that he created us and wanted a personal relationship with us so much that he did this. This is just incredible. His love is ever lasting. He loves his children, his creation that's why we are in his image. He is Great!
if he wants some relationship with me, treat me like moses or any of the other folks who got to see an angel or god incarnate in some bush or something, not grasping at the still-interpretated book written by a whole bunch of people. and it's not that great of a gift to be saved from a damnation brought about by the creator. the only sin that was first committed was disobedience, and the punishment did not have to be eternal torment but was chosen to be so by god. the idea of being grateful to the rapist for withholding the rape because i gave in to the advances and had sex is just stupid.

LIVE FOR HIM, ITS THE LEAST WE CAN DO!
and since i've got you here, and you seem pretty zealous, explain this one for me. people sufffer and feel pain, and the idea was always explained to me as a way to teach mankind and make him stronger in his faith and whatnot. but that doesn't explain why animals suffer and feel pain. why does such a merciful lord allow the creatures he created to be tormented and abused (michael vick comes to mind) when they can gain nothing from it? certainly mankind was put in charge of the beasts and birds, as genesis describes, but that doesn't point to why they should feel anything. and why don't trees and vegetables feel pain and suffer? what ever gain comes by allowing dogs to slowly starve before being torn to bits by a bigger mutt in some dog fight can surely be gotten by rows of corn crying out as the harvester swoops them up. granted, you are not in a position to answer the question, because you are not god and did not make that choice. the problem is god never provides the answer either while all the while presenting some perception that all the answers are in the bible (if you are a believer, which i obviously am not).
i'm bored so the topic gives me something to do. thanx.
