89.4 - Average score in Finals victories by the four Spurs champions.
What did the Cavs points per game end up being. ABC flashed a stat that 79.8 was the lowest ever by the Knicks vs Spurs '99, and that Cleveland was at 80.0 going into the last game. I'm wondering if that final 3 pter by Damon Jones cost the Spurs the all-time lowest points scored against ave. :lol

The Cavs averaged 80.5 (322 points in 4 games). The last 3-pointer by Jones kept the average from being 79.75.

Just to confirm the ABC stat, the Knicks scored 399 points in the 5 games of the 1999 Finals vs. the Spurs. That is 79.8 ppg so Damon Jones kept the modern record in tact.

University of Houston's own Damon Jones comes through in the clutch! And there's little doubt that he did exactly what he did because he figured out the math while he was on the court. We only produce scholar athletes here at UH.
