Anyone else see this on Draft Express?

San Antonio and Cleveland are talking trade right now, as the Cavs are very anxious to get into this draft and find a piece that might help them in their efforts to return to the finals next year. Their owner is supposedly firmly behind them, and they could try to buy a pick in the late first round (Phoenix and Philly’s picks are available at 29 and 30). If they don’t, it’s possible they trade a future pick for San Antonio’s late first rounder and also nab Danny Ferry’s favorite, Beno Udrih in the process.

We better not trade our first for just some future picks. I want Almond!

LOL Almond won't be available at 28. If he was, the Pistons would take him at 27.

Doesnt detroit want to be more athletic next year and not just add another shooter to stand next to rip?

compared to our other players.....Almond is a GREAT athlete! But he's the scoring threat we've needed off the bench for years. A mature player who understands the game. If we could grab Nick Young or Rodney Stuckey with the 15th pick, and Almond with the 27th, Our draft would be a huge success.

The closer the draft gets the more I think I'm going to be disappointed. I'm really hoping we trade up but I can see us trading out and then taking a bunch of Euro projects that we have no intention of bringing over.

I might have fallen for the hype, too. I'm preparing myself for an "Ian Mahinmi" call, some guy the draft people haven't even made a placard for.

we will either trade away or sell our 1st rd pick. we will then pick 2 players whom we've never heard of. this is what we should expect.

It'll be atypical spurs draft.

Lots of potential, and fuck it all up.

Yea, the more I think about it, the more I believe that 28 pick goes bye bye. I think they'll do this especially if they can get what they wanted at the 28 pick at the 33. I wish they would pick someone domestic from a major college program, being that this is supposedly such a "deep draft" but I'm not gonna hold my breath. Get ready for another tongue twisting name :rolleyes
