You know, when they draft Izektige Moatgalama from Uzbekistan that nobody in the world has ever heard of making us think that Pop and RC have pulled another fast one on the league and that Izektige will become the next Jordan.
Spurstalk is :elephant :blah :spin :drunk :smokin :clap :downspin:
....then, 12 minutes later, the Spurs trade him to the Toronto Raptors for a box of Milk Duds and a snow cone.
Then Spurstalk is :dizzy :dramaquee :depressed :oops :rolleyes :madrun :bang

Well, I can't respond tomorrow night since I'll be at the Draft itself, so you'll be spared my effusion and dismay.
The bad part is, it'll take me until I get home to figure out who the fuck the Spurs just drafted. :lol

I want to see the implosion from Spurs fans when the Spurs pick Rudy Fernandez at 28 and then trade him to the Cavs with Beno for two future second round picks :rollin

That would definitely cause a Chernoybl up in here. My guess is that it happens with a domestic player that some here have jonesed for.

I'd predict a Darkwaters suicide.

Anyone that freaks out on anything the Spurs do in the draft didn't watch them draft Tracy Murray or Bill Curley.

I'm use to it by now. I trust the guys that get paid the big bucks to draft for the Spurs. They have brought home four titles doing that.

I think for the next 24 hours nobody should post except for TheGhostOfAlfredrickHughes.

I'm not sure if anyone liked Damir for the ten minutes we had him (except Boutons). We were still in the "well, okay..." stage.

If by "pull a Damir Markota" you mean trade away the late second round pick and grab a future second round pick that's assuredly better....yeah that'd be nice.
Damir might well be turned into a reliable backup PG or god knows what else....hopefully more productive than Markota.
And if the Spurs did trade out of their first round spot to pick one up next year, it might be more beneficial....seeing as how the Spurs will then be in a position to draft a player that might actually contribute this year. Because, unless #28 is a backup PG, the chances that the player sniffs the court are slim.

That is not bad. I can not read any posts anymore, I just scroll thru the threads looking for that pic
