Why do people like this place so much? The last 3 times I have went there, my hamburger has been cold, the service is bad and the workers are more ghetto than anything I've seen this side of Compton. Whataburger blows. Anyone else agree?

Well it does vary from place to place, but it is still my fave fast food burger. It just bugs me how some of the places pile on the condiments, not spread them out evenly. I have to waste a couple of minutes arranging everything so as not to get a bite with 5 pickles.

WB is good, if I were to complain about anything the last thing would be the temperature of their burgers, aren't that fresh cooked?

I just wish they'd keep more of their unique burgers on the menu, like the A1 or BBQ Ranch Whatachick'n.

I know McD's does the same thing, but at least they already have unique burgers like the Quarter Pounder and the Big Mac, the Whataburger isn't that unique...

Whataburger sucks.

Since I've lived here, I've never understood the fascination people have with it.

Every other state/city I've been, it's considered the bottom of the barrell for fastfood burgers.

Whataburger is the SHIT, I love that damn place! 100% real beef burgers made any way you want it, open 24 hours, need I say more? I have yet to find another burger chain anywhere in the country that comes close to Whataburger.

In and Out burger in Cali comes close, but for me Whataburger is at the top.

The BBQ chicken strip sandwich was soooooo good. The Whataburger by my house is awesome, but I've tried other locations and it wasn't that good.

if you could hear about some of the stuff the workers did to the burgers and some of the stuff they did with their free time it would make you never want to eat a Whataburger again at least at the location that she worked at

Hey now you can't say something like that and then not give us an example!!!

The place that I liked the burgers a lot in S.A. was Buck's Landing. Too bad it closed.

One place that I don't like at all, which some people just love, is Crazy Jane's.

Buck's Landing was great, it was just in a poor location.

By the time you see it, it's almost (IIRC) like you'd have to exit 281 or Blanco if you're coming the other way and do at least one turnaround if you didn't know the backroads.

Speaking of that location, I still want to try Swig North. As the waitress at the Swig downtown told me, "It's so sexy there."

Yeah, if you're talking Cheesy Jane's, it's a little pricey, but I like it. No real atmosphere to the place, though.

In-n-out is overrated just like whataburger, they are good for what they are a quick burger and better than the other chains except for maybe Steak n Shake.

Cheesy Janes was good, not great.

I think it would have been a lot better if they hadn't over cooked my burger, if I ever went back I'd certainly ask them not to over cook it...

:lol Yeah I meant Chessy Jane's. Crazy Jane's was a restaurant in Phoenix when I was little.

So .. yeah, Chessy Jane's hamburgers are horrible, IMO.

That's funny cuz I remember the food critics gave Buck's Landing a scathing review when it first opened. I never ate there, so I can't comment.

i can't think of a better drive thru burger.

I think most whataburger fans will find that in and out sucks.

triple meat, triple cheese is overdoing it though. just double up and be happy.

Right before we left, we went to Rio Mambo the place that is where Buck's was. It was pretty good too.

Griffs burgers suck, the lettuce on them falls off and the onions are all scattered through out the bag, the fries are ok. Whataburger is the best the place i go to serves the burgers hot and the fries are ok.

TP is Whataburger, too expensive and too unnecessarily large but comes up empty when it counts.
