Just heard on the radio that the rumor is that Ray Allen would be put on the block if the Sonics can pull off the Luke Ridnour deal and acquire the #11 pick to use on SG Rodney Stuckey. If true, would you be interested in Allen for the Spurs? Would there be any sort of realistic package that didn't include the Big 3 which could get it done?

Best shooter in the game hands down, but he should stockpile cheese for that fucking wine. Look up the word BEYOTCH in Webster's and there you will see Jesus Shuttlesworth of Coney island.

Not for $19M for a 35-year-old in 2010.

Not on the Spurs, but I think he might be gone...

Allen + to Indiana for O'Neal makes some sense...

On the same team as Bowen, at least he'd stay free of back injuries.

Swift, Petro, Sene, Wilcox, Collison...

I guess it might happen, but only if they were making another move to get rid of some of their bigs.

Since the Garnett deal is somewhat dead I could see Minnesota making a push to get Allen as a way to make one last run with KG. It would cost them their 1st and equal salary but it would be worth it if for no other reason than to make that last run before they trade the franchise away.

Did you see the "+" after Allen's name? That's because I was thinking about a throw-in young F/C, but I wasn't sure which one....so yeah I totally agree.

Here's the reasoning breakdown...

Indiana rekindles the memory of sharpshooter Reggie Miller with another sharpshooter in Ray Allen. And they have Troy Murphy to step in at PF.

Seattle gets a legitimate big to play alongside Durant.

Also, wasn't O'Neal a FA target of the Spurs back in '03? So wouldn't Presti be familiar with him? Just food for thought....

Ray Allen isn't any more of a pussy and Bowen whiner than Finley was prior to coming here....

Agreed. If Mark Cuban has to pay Ray's salary I'll be happy with him as a Spur, too.

Yes, right after an American victory in Iraq.
