i doubt it, they have cheaper options in house than pietrus that do the same thing (james white, marcus williams)

no way. I'm not giving up Splitter for an overrated Pietrus.

If you really want him then offer him your full MLE. But don't gift wrap him for Golden State.

No.

Exactly, if we are going to give him that kind of contract, use the MLE, no need to trade Splitter.

Going after Pietrus makes few sense for Spurs :
- Spurs have spend one year working with James White and he wasn't that bad when he got playtime at the end of the season.
- Spurs have spend a 33rd pick on Marcus Williams.
Spurs have still 2 young SG/SF, I don't see the point to go after a "so-so" SG/SF like Pietrus.

And giving up Splitter (I can't believe this guy will be a Spur :elephant ), makes even fewer sense for Spurs.

Bruno being elated with Splitter gives me hope.

With drafting Marcus WIlliams, and how excited they are about him, it seems that the thin long small forward market is taken.

IMO, try for a backup point, Give it all ya got to get Nocioni, and if you can't get him.

Stash the money, no one else is worth a shit available.
