Why would you want that cancer....they need a bat........and the padres as a club have been known to rehab careers. still, not a big enough bat, though the acquisitions of barrett and bradley are moving them in the right direction. i'd love to see them bring in griffey jr.

For one, hes not as good as he once was. 2, hes a huge cancer, I'd be suprised if hes on the club in August.

I don't know if he's that big of a cancer, but the Pads are only likely to get 20-30 games out of him. You give this guy a weird look and it'll strain his hammy.

Most of his teammates not named Jeff Kent (who has had his own problems) speak well of him.

Cleveland did move him because a problem he had with the manager, but Oakland moved him more for his inability to stay on the field rather than anything that happened off of it.
