I sat a few seats away from her and Manu's parents at game 1 and 2 of round 1. She's pretty with a gorgeous smile and I didn't know she wears glasses (which works for her btw). She was cheering pretty loudly during the game and even had an Argentinean flag with her :tu.

I had only seen a few pictures of her on the forum, so I didn't recognize her immediately. OTOH I had not seen any pictures of his parents and recognized them instantly :lol

His dad is adorable. Manu's mom and Many tend to spend the second half of games in the family lounge, so his dad will sit by himself. He really gets into the game.

As far as how they met, no clue. I believe they've been together for quite a while, so I imagine it was the same way that most people meet... through friends, at a party, something like that.

I don't remember where, but I thought I read that they met through her dad who was or is a coach in Argentina in 1997, but again, I couldn't tell you where I got that from.

I can't find the link, but I read in an article that he met her when he went to her hometown for a basketball tournament or something close. They were actually introduced by the current Argentine NT coach, Sergio Hernandez.

Esta emiliana de alma nació sin embargo en Capital Federal, el 28 de julio de 1981. Ese mismo día pero de 1977, nacía en Bahía Blanca alguien al que tardaría unos años en conocer pero que sería determinante en su vida, se llama Emanuel Ginóbili.
