I remember spending 2 hours on my hair then getting 20.00 dollars so I could buy forty 25 cent bourbon and cokes during ladies night, while dancing to the Cure just so I could get a some girls beeper number in the parking lot.

what do you remember about the 80s? :wakeup

I used to come home from preschool, go with my dad to the local arcade, then come home and eat grilled cheese sandwhiches (the only delicacy my father made) and watch MTV. I was 3 and put it on MTV with no influence whatsoever. I loved it and it shaped me into the person I am today. That was 1986. The one video that totally tripped my 3 year old mind out was this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3MzShg7yXik

The genesis song "land of confusion" was pretty tight but the video was incredibly creepy and probably scarred me for life, I can't believe my parents let me watch this shit. I also remember Cold War-related tensions and bright coloured poofy clothing.

Well I guess it's just like they say we all have both sexes inside of us. After I got over the "gender confusion" I thought he was pretty "interesting" too!!
