Within the span of 24 hours, the Blazers had offers for two certain Hall of Famers in exchange for the No. 1 pick.

Good article shedding light into Pritchard's process leading up to the draft. Looks like the Lakers offered Kobe and Bynum. Another team offered another unknown "HOFer."

unreal. my guess is either dallas offered nowitzki or minny offered KG and maybe even phoenix, amare.

probably, but i bet dallas offered nowitzki....or maybe not. it seemed from that article they had a bunch of BIG offers.

I think it was foolish for Portland if the offer was for either KG or Dirk... A proven player is better than a prospect any day of the week IMHO.
But not for Kobe... can't win with only Kobe (Shaq too, but you can add a dime a dozen super SG with Shaq)...
