Well, I don't know him personally so I can't really comment on his personality so to speak. Still...it's great where in America anyone with a TV show can state their opinion and basically tell the President to resign....This is the true test of freedom and expression....which maybe lost on Keith...however I do agree with a lot of what he said regarding the US administration. I'm just happy that these freedoms are discussed, MSNBC, CNN or even FoxNews...

What freedoms? The Bush Junta has suspended the constitution, haven't you heard?

I know Yonivore....there's definitely a lot of problems in the US, but every damn country has there issues. Do I like your administration....no....but each and every citizen can state their opinion and concerns. That's all that matters.

You would think, right?

But, the liberals, in America, like to make up scandals so they can claim their rights are being eroded when, in fact, they enjoy more freedom than any other citizen on the face of the planet.

I was thinking of linking a youtube video involving a fat guy eating his fries with a tub of mayo becuase it would symbolize the liberties with have in this country where fat asses can eat off their gourde, but then this Olbermann video hit the spot.

Only in america can you be a pathetic fool and have another pathetic fool ramble on about how a pathetic fool can ramble on because of freedom..

Damn, lakerfan has come through again!!

He will. He'll win a well-deserved retirement. I wouldn't expect to see Laura running for the Senate either.

There is a genuinely impressive bit of drivel (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/peter-mehlman/at-least-they-didnt-mean_b_53094.html) from Peter Mehlman over at the Huffington Post. Believe it or not, Mehlman can actually write comedy (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/peter-mehlman/#blogger_bio), which, it is now apparent, requires not one ounce of knowledge of history, politics, or philosophy. Here is the graph that I hope ends up in Mehlman's obit or engraved on his tombstone:

You could argue that even the world's worst fascist dictators at least meant well. They honestly thought were doing good things for their countries by suppressing blacks/eliminating Jews/eradicating free enterprise/repressing individual thought/killing off rivals/invading neighbors, etc.
About Bush, and the solid majority of Americans who supported him in 2004, Mehlman writes: "How can anyone not see it? It's not that their policies have been misguided or haven't played out right. They. Don't. Even. Mean. Well." Helen Thomas is Peter's guide to things political. Perfect. Just perfect.

To write this piece required an indifference to fact, common sense, and tact that is truly impressive, not to mention an obtuseness to suffering that distinguishes fanatics from all ages. Bravo to Peter Mehlman, apologist for Hitler and Mussolini, rehabilitator of misunderstood mass murderers.

Bush Derangement Syndrome: You have your poster boy. "Everyone" knows it.

IMO about 50 percent of the crap Bush gets blamed for is what
the dimm-o-craps have done and then blame Bush for the deed.
And never, never does any MSM or Dimms give Bush any credit
for anything. Like record revenue and the lowest unemployment
rate in years. Actually most economist call it full employment
the rate is so low.

Also according the the dimm-o-craps, or should I just call them
what they are: Socialist, we should even protect our country.
The always look outside the U.S. to see how the other
Socialist countries do anything, most of them are failures in
all the endeavors, but they still insist their way is the best
way. You know like boutons.

I think you mean a "much welcomed" retirement.

I can understand the typo, though.

I don't understand why he doesn't run. All he has to do is remind the liberals that he was appointed by the Supreme Court, and agree with Michael Moore’s assessment that he took too much time off vacationing. Therefore, his two term limit wouldn't be constitutionally complete, and he can run again.

He is the executor of law, he could make such a claim!

Read the constitution…. This argument has validity!

An Imperial Presidency!! Presidential activism!! Furthering the Will of the People!!

Any of those would make fantastic campaign slogans for a third Bush term.

Well, to hear people like you, he's already trashed the Constitution so, what's to keep him for just staying?

Yeah the Republican party are the only victims. They don't ever play the role of hypocrite also do they? Both parties are guilty of the "we are perfect the other party is evil" routine.

I'm not a democrat, but I don't think they would claim boutons. I think I hear a lot of people from both parties on this board claiming that their way is the best way. For all the intelligence that you people obviously have judging from your posts in the past, it really is amazing to see how much you play into the world of Republican vs Democrat gridlock. It is because of the big money making 2 party system that nothing gets done in this country anymore. Neither party wants to let the other one do something good out of fear of the other guy getting credit and thus more financial support. That greed is really hampering the progression of our country and culture.
