I agree, they are the best of the current rock crop.

icky thump is the WORST song I have ever heard. I want to throw up some icky stuff when I hear that horrid song.I thought Blue Orchid was the worst song on GBMS and that was their leadoff single off of that record.

I like Icky Thump though, it grows on you (well, me anyways). But the best songs on that album are not named the title of the album, thats for sure.

Icky thump sucks big fucking gorilla balls. If the album is anything like the single, I will be more than happy to fucking pass. That song gives me a goddamn headache anytime I hear that piece of shit excuse for a fucking song. Sad since I really liked their earlier work. SHITTIEST SINGLE EVER!

most people i know of havent even heard a single song from the queens' first 2 albums... much less anything other than their handful of singles that receive airplay.

I'm going to their show out here on the 22nd, and I'm very concerned that WAY too much of the new material is going to be performed than it should be.
I realize that they're trying to promote this new album, but it's just fuckin' terrible!
If Josh was inspired to write the majority of the material for "Songs for the Deaf" while driving through the desert (allegedly), and driving through L.A. was the inspiration for most of the "Era Vulgaris" songs, then I'd say that he needs to keep driving his ass past all the damn tumbleweeds he can find!
