COURANT.com - Forward Mikki Moore, who became a key contributor for the Nets last season, met with Bulls officials Friday in Chicago, The Record ofHackensack, N.J., reported Saturday.
The 76ers, Warriors and Jazz have also shown interest in Moore, a free agent. If Moore gets the midlevel salary cap exception - more than $5 million a year - the Nets would be unlikely to match, according to The Record.
Nets president Rod Thorn characterized negotiations as ongoing, and said "it's certainly a possibility" that Moore could sign elsewhere.
Last week Moore said of the Nets: "I love this team. I love this organization. It's going to take a lot for me to get pulled away from this situation."
I dont know how this will solve the Bulls problems, as Moore isn't exactly what you call a "post player".
