Ived tried to convince my wife for the past 2 years for us to move to the pacific northwest.
she wont leave her family here, but ughh. Id love to live up near portland / washington state area

Those pics are nice Tlong. We have a bunch in our neighborhood and they come in our yard but not close enough to feed from our hand. Last year one got close enough for me to toss lettuce to but she was very jittery.

Don't confuse "friendly" with wanting a feed... wild animals only ever come to humans for food, sometimes with disastrous results like the bears who get used to human food and raid campsites then have to be put down.
Nice photos though.

Sunriver is about 15 miles south of Bend, Oregon. It's known as the high desert of central Oregon. Elevation 4200 feet.
