Who is the poster with him in a Spurs uni in their sig? I'm breathing quite the sigh of relief. I didn't realize the Spurs had almost fucking nobody outside of the Big Three signed after next year:

The Orlando loss was a fluke loss on a fluke dunk by a fluke player.

The reason I called Howard and his dunk a fluke is because of how much hype he got for making one dunk. He isn't a brilliant or great player right now, at least.

Dwight Howard is in the EAST and his team is 8th in the East. Need I say more? Any decent player can put up those numbers in the East. Put him in the West on a top 3 team and he's option #4. I look at players for what they do for their team, not individual stats. Which is why Kobe and LeBron aren't at the top of my best players list. If you guys are this easy to impress, then I can see why you all like Houston.

Howard is still raw, but if you put him beside Duncan and have him learn from Duncan, he'd make a great player. He'd have the power and athleticism to jump over guys, and the B-Ball knowledge to be effective in the lowpost like Duncan.

The Spurs can still get him, it'll just cost a bit more.

Elton Brand will still be a free agent at that time won't he? A lot can still happen.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. For almost a decade now, Spurs fans have deluded themselves into believing that elite players in their primes are going to turn down big-money offers to be the stars on their own teams, compromise their own financial security, then accept less money to become role players on the San Antonio Spurs.

This time around, the Spurs won't even have the cap room -- with the signings of Bonner and Oberto, they only have $8 million in room for next year -- enough to outbid MLE offers for a decent complementary player, but nothing more.

Watch him sign an extension with the Clips before the season starts. :dramaquee

But really, it just happens that the Spurs will have some money to spend next year. The Big 3, ubiquitously renowned for their championship mettle, will still be around and show no signs of slowing. The Spurs are not obligated to go out and sign a name. For all we know, the FO might just fill the roster with journeymen for another year or so, and wait for a better/cheaper free agent.

Scary thought, huh?

Magic aren't trading him.

I know. That's why I had this emotie. :drunk

That's what anyone in their right mind would have to be to trade Howard to the Spurs.

Forget about it. Big time free agent all star quality players don't come to the spurs.

i was hoping (like hoping i win 32 million in the lottery) that dwight would come to the spurs to be the team's dominant big man for the next ten years.
