The target date for the 3-on-3 tourney is the weekend of January 10th. I wanted to wait until after the holidays so that everyone could make it.

I'll call about a gym tomorrow and let you know definitively of the time/date.

It will be double-elimination, probably 12 teams. You can comprise your own team, or you can post in this thread and hook up with other posters to make your team.

Just post in this thread for now. Once we get all the details, we'll organize the teams, make team names, etc.

Please, a reminder to everyone, if you say you are going to play then you must show up. It screws up the brackets if you don't.

A couple years back, I was 100% from the FT line using the WNBA ball. Then, we had to play the game using the men's ball. Threw me off totally. Clang! Clang! Clang! Reminded me of the HEB commercial - "only this far off..."

I hope, but I don't think he was. Ummm, can we play on a 8 ft basket, i was dunking on the 8ft one, then started playing on the 10ft......It totally threw me off.

Most of the gyms are booked on the weekends. Plus I'm trying to schedule it around Spurs games and the NFL playoffs. It might be best to wait until after SuperBowl weekend. I'll see what I can confirm this week. Sorry for the delay.

In the past, Kori and LJ have paid for the gym. I think it's time we all at least chipped in a few bucks in order to cover the of the gym. Any extra money could be used for gatorade and the like.

Also, getting a ref was mentioned. How much do they cost?
