Seriously, some people are just plain rude. There is no harm in helping out other fans without insulting them...

It's an innocent mistake. When I first became a Spurs fan, I also thought the fans were booing Bruce...because the sound "BRUUUUUUUCE" sounds like "BOOOOO"...lol. It's an easy mistake due to the sounds being very similar, especially when listening to a huge crowd...
