You'd have to have a god awful regular season to finish seventh or eighth.

I thought the 2008 trophy was being presented to Lebron "The Sweep" James and the season was being canceled. Atleast ESPN makes it sound that way...

I want them to be top 5 or top 4 seed so they can fly under the radar. If they are a one seed that puts to much pressure on them.

LOL at Seattle making the playoffs, let alone making it to the semis.

Personally, I'm hoping for the 7th seed in 2008. A 6 seed has reached the Finals and so has an 8, but I'm not sure that I can recall a #7 seed getting all the way through the tournament.

It would be great to see the Spurs make some history.

Honestly, it doesn't matter what seed we get. We are always ready come playoff time.

That is Spurs Homoizum at it's worst! You know dam well the spurs don't always come though in the playoffs, if they did? they would have not lost to the Suns in round one a few years back. And what happened last season?

You want to paint your 1993 Honda Accord black and silver and make sure you have the latest spurs wall paper at your job at H&R block to impress your boss, go right ahead. But don't come in here acting as though you was born with black N silver diapers and begin to tell us all the Spurs and the fans don't give a rats ass about what seed they are come playoff time.

If that was the case, their would not be 78 topics about it on page 154.

But I do like your signature.

what? first of all Duncan was injured when we played the suns, and second when we lost last year we had the homecourt anyway so i don't really see your point.

I don't think it matters, as long as it's one of the top 4 and we don't have any major injuries.

We own the road.

Practically everybody chose them to win the championship last year. I'm not sure if that qualifies as "underdog".

Who's practically everybody? You mean everyone that didn't say the Mavs were going to take it? In that case, it wouldn't be practically everybody. That would be practically nobody.

That is a good post for only being your 3rd :wakeup

I think the better question would be who do you want to face first, and last in the playoffs. As A Mavericks fan? I really don't give a shit we will find a way to fuck things up :lmao

Wherever a 54 - 58 win season sets them. That's what I expect them to have. I look for Pop to continue to limit minutes, especially with he big 3 and of course Horry, so they are in great shape come playoff time.

That's why I look for Bonner to get a lot of minutes during RS this time around.

I just don't see Pop so interested in RS wins any longer that he will wear the starters down trying to set a record or win a division banner.

The Spurs could probably sleep walk through RS and still make the playoffs, and whatever seed they draw, if they are healthy, they have to be one of the favorites to win it all again.

Plus they will have the motivation going for them that they have been told so often how they have failed to repeat. This, I think, will be their mission this season.

Remember how this past year they were told they were too old, too this, too that and they used that as their motivation to prove em all wrong. I look for the same thing in the upcoming season.

They are the Champs and will be until someone manages to take it away, and I don't see that as an easy task for anyone.

Lets fake a few key injuries, go 20-62, win the ping pong ball war, and draft a 22 year old Tim Duncan. I want another 10 years like the last ten.
