It's time again to vote for Tony! We've gotta' give him the win over Shaq!

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/sportsnation/whosnow

Vote for Tony--it takes to seconds to click the button. Tell as many people as you can and let's get this done.

I know some of you are angry at ESPN. And you hate ESPN. But don't do this for ESPN. Do this to see if we can really pull the upset over Shaq!

Shaq's not now. Maybe he was years ago. I don't hear about him much any more, though. He should probably be a lower seed.

VOTE TONY! (http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/sportsnation/whosnow)

Tony barely beat Federer and now he's up against Shaq today.

I'm just not seeing Tony come out of this one on top. The only thing that he has going for him that's "now" is Eva...ppl obviously don't give a shit about winning the finals or mvp when it's the Spurs. Now we just gotta hope the Eva Fan Club is larger than the Shaq Bandwagon, but it's not.

Yeah, you can say that, but Shaq barely (by a smaller margin than Tony beat Fed) beat Michael Phelps.

How many of you just said, "Who??"

July 15: (7) Tony Parker def. (2) Roger Federer (56.1% - 43.9%)
July 16: (3) Shaquille O'Neal def. (6) Michael Phelps (52.2% - 47.8%)

Shaq is by far more popular than Tony in the NBA... he keeps getting voted to start the ASG yet he sits out more than he plays. Hopefully Tony pulls the upset again but I just don't see it against Shaq.

Any San Antonian that votes for Shaq over Tony should be run out of town on a rail, with the possible exception of his father (who can be exiled too but only to Converse).

its not just about on the court (which, IMO is all that matters) its also the "buzz" created off the court. Roger Federer is awesome but in the US...tennis is not as big as basketball. Not saying its right, just saying the way it is.

Michael Phelps is a badass, but who cares about swimming? Shaq should have squashed him. Weird.

Just voted Tony... but I still don't understand what is this game...

It's this TV Show on ESPN. They're having a sort of bracket-style tournament where they pit different athletes against each other in an attempt to determine "Who's Now." To be "Now," you have to be good in your sport and also be making the news in matters not related to your sport. Endorsement deals, relationships with celebrities, and media appearances are usually what's considered in the latter. Hope this helps!

Well, now what are we gonna watch this summer? I hate baseball!

How about we get the Coyote to go to Vegas, and have him Make It Rain and then go coyote and bite a stripper, so that we have a story to follow for the next few months, cause we obviously ain't watching the transaction wires

I love how ESPN made up a new adjective to describe the completely subjective way they rate who they are going to cover, and basically acknowledging that little of it actually has to do with sports.
