I prefer Firefox, however I've been trying out Apple Safari (which can now be used on Windows) and have been impressed so far.
Firefox is more stable, loads faster, less prone to errors and bugs and has cooler extensions.

So what makes firefox better?
It's more customizeable. It doesn't have the same security holes that IE has. Maybe someone more techy than me could give you a more in depth answer.

O'm having problems with my firefox, it goes to update then I get the message: 1 or more files could not be updated. Please make sure all applications are closed and that you have premission to modify the files, and then restart firefox to try again.
It never loads, what can I do to fix it?

I like IE7 and have to use it for some websites that I use, but the one thing that pissed me off is that a lot of times my bookmarks wouldn't work. So I'd have to bookmark it again and it would recognize that I already had it. Pain in the ass.
I had stopped using FF because I was constantly getting popunders. Constantly. I just switched back to FF the other day.
