View Full Version : I'm still 39 and I don't need any recommendations for Vegas!

I'm going to be in Vegas this weekend with Mrs. Chopper. We're leaving tomorrow on a private plane. There are only going to be about 150 of us on this private jet. It's painted blue and has the word "Southwest" on the tail fin.
I intend to spend a lot of money and have a good time. Two weeks later I'll be returning to spend some time with an old college buddy of mine. I'm sure for trip 2 I'll also have a good time and it's highly doubtful my agenda will be even remotely similar for the two excursions.
Just thought I'd share.

I'm sure GiG thinks this is a cool thread. :depressed
Instead of going to "Rain", are you going to make it rain?
Be sure to check out the cool volleyball tournaments too.

If it makes you feel any better, I lived in Vegas for 9 years, and I don't need any recommendations either. :D

Actually, I do need Jim to give me some poker advice. Since I'm a novice, however, I'll probably just stick to games I know.

Except I'm not talking about jizzing on someone's face or poking someone in their booty.

That's the smartest thing you can do. Find the games you have a niche for, and stick with them.
Bottom line: sometimes Lady Luck is on you shoulder. Sometimes she isn't. You have to walk away when she isn't, and ride her for all she's worth when she is.

For all you single guys out there, Vegas has far too much local talent to go out to a brothel and drop $500 to $2,500 on some action. Wasteful utilization of financial resources.
Besides, the Moonlight Bunny Ranch is in Reno. :smokin

I never understood that either. Why would anyone want to drive 6 hours to Reno when there's about 20 pages of "escort services" right there in the Las Vegas yellow pages?

Best advice in Vegas is unless you know what you're doing, don't go beyond the 100NL buy-in level because you will get slaughtered. Vegas is full of rounders playing 200NL/500NL and up.
However, i think you were being facetious, no? :lol
