Beno's Spurs career hangs by a thread. Jacque Vaughn still makes one uneasy.

unfortunately Vaughn > Knight
but agreed, he would be a solid number 3.
What?
He wants to get paid?
Forget it.

I would love to have him as a back up, he is a good ball handler and distributer.

Darker than KG. I think he would be our second PG if we did bring him over. Vet min?

He would be my number two option over vaughn also.

when did he develop a better than Vaughn jumper?

I'd start him in front of Vaughn. But Jacque would still get a lot of burn once Knight goes down with his annual injury. Regardless, I'd love to sign him for the minimum.

I must have missed Vaughn just missing averaging a double double in points and assists last year.

I think Knight is generally better than Vaughn (except on defense), but I don't know that I'd call 9.1 pts/6.6 asts just missing a double-double.
Also, he only played 45 games last year, and has never played more than 69 since his rookie year. So even if Knight were our second stringer, JV had better not get too comfortable on the bench.
Overall, if we could get him for the minimum, I'd take him in a heartbeat. I wouldn't pay much more for him, however.

You obviously know a lot about knight .... :rolleyes

You're kidding right? :lol
Unless your case is based almost solely on Knight's injury history, I just flat out think you're wrong.
Knight is a little bit better passer, but vaughn actually has a better shot. In the end, the change isnt a whole lot different.
