I just downloaded it, it took 2 minutes of my time, and its super simple.

Not only that, my internet speed zooms. You all have to try it.

Get fasterfox @: https://addons.update.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1269

Works GREAT!

Worth reading the reviews first. Definitely differing opinions on this one.

Giving it a try, so far only notice the timer on the bottom right hand corner. My isp speed is below.

(Edit) It seems to work things do load faster now, not a big difference but noticeable.

I believe it only works on firefox. Just do yourself and switch to firefox, much better.

is faster and security not enough?

well besides that, the only thing I can think of is customization (toolbar), add-onds, and reliability.

Thought I'd bump this, this is a great add on. Anyone else got any good addons? I got a thing called googlepedia. Whenever you do a search on google it cross searches on Wikipedia its kinda useful for looking things up.

I'm having a little problem with this addon. I have a home network with three computers all hooked up to a router. This addon seems to have fucked up the configuration or something because I lost connection with the other 2 computers. I used to be able to share internet with the other 2, now I can't even connect.

Anyone have any idea what it could be?

Firefox is one of the new additions at Mooby's.

It pisses me the fuck off how Elias is constantly on the transformers boards.

It probably does some weird tunneling shit like VPN. When I work from home, it cuts my computer off the home network until I stop VPN.

yeah, but I've already disabled it and uninstalled it and its still fucking with my network. Anybody know anything about networking? I think its a confuguration thing. The minute I installed Fasterfox, the whole network went to shit. Now all I get on the other comps is a limited connectivity message

It could be your router. Did you try connecting back to your network? If you have an encryption key just reconnect to your network using your key.

the plugin more than likely tweaks some network settings in the browser like MTU speed, etc.

Nevermind, it was a cable problem. For some odd reason the cable connecting the router to the hub just stopped working at the exact same time I finished installing Fasterfox, leading me to believe that the two were related.

already fixed the problem. Thanks for the help though! :tu
