Practices don't start until Wed., right?

I've been to several camps over the years. The drills are typically timed and structured. RBs together, QBs and receivers, LBs together...LBs sometimes with DL with 3-4 defenses, DBs together, Kickers in their own group. Then they will have offense versus defense...usually 1st team offense goes, while 2nd team waits behind them and they will alternate. Every coaching staff will have their own drills they like to use. It's nearly always done with the field cut in half unless they are doing kickoffs and punts or controlled scrimmages.

If you have some binoculars, sometimes you can read lips on the coaches or players just for something different to do. It gets boring after a while for casual fans or little kids.

It's not a practice, it's a Welcome Back party.

And I am about 50/50 as to whether I am going. I may have to go out of town briefly today. :(

I think he meant the actual practices ... which are open to the public to watch throughout training camp.

Hey all,
So, we went to the Kick Off event and had a good time.
We were surrounded by some pretty hardcore fans and that I just loved because it gave me an oppurtunity to cheer just as loud as the person sitting next to me...hahaha...It was fun!
We didnt have great seats, since we showed up a bit late. But, we had a great view anyway and I was able to take some good pictures...

Did anyone else go?
And did anyone else catch people booing Tony Romo?
(It wasnt our section. It was the section to our right and I was like," Are they booing Romo?)
I think other people heard also. So, they tried to cheer over the boos.
But, I seriously heard some booing...not cool...

But, it was great when Romo said," How 'bout them Cowboys.."

Anyway, Jerry Jones gave a speech I could not make out. But, I did hear him say something about the Spurs and the 25,000 plus crowd abrupted into cheers. When that happened, my husband and I turned to each other and started laughing because it was kind of quiet before...

But, I dont know.
I think some people showed up to ruffle some feathers because the section to our left was being quite rude.
(When they aired a clip of the Cowboys new stadium, they were shouting," Boring! Boring...Boooo...")
Geez..
And when the Cheerleaders came out, they were like,"Yea, that's what we're hear for baby.." (And they were like," Look at that ass on that one..Dayum..")
ETC.

I think as time went on, they were pretty much easy to ignore. So, whatever else they said, I didnt catch...I was having too much of a good time, just chatting with some fellow fans and trying my best to take some good pictures and listen to the little mini-speeches, etc.

But, overall, good times...San Antonio has lots of Cowboys fans, I believe.
