time to clean up the league.
Pop is over rated. Like he said himself once... if not for the big 3, he'd be coaching middle school basketball somewhere. Yes he's good, but a lot luckier just to be here with these guys.. I know some of you POPsicles don't like to here this but show me where he's won without them?

Tarnation I can't! :depressed . But then again, I can't figure out where Red Auerbach, Phil Jackson or Pat Riley succeeded without talent either.
This means one thing:
Jerry Tarkanian for greatest coach in history. Nobody did less with more.

Although the Flipster will give him a run by the time all is said and done.

No coach can coach without the talent. Now that being said, doesn't Duncan always say "It begins with Pop"?
Just having talent does not necessarily mean success for the coach.
Maybe you really do think Pop is overrated. And he would probably be the last to argue the point. But when you consider the talent on EVERY team in the NBA, and which coach it is that has the best record over the last 8 or 9 years, you can't tell me it's just "pure ass luck" because of the talent, and has nothing at all to do with the way that talent is utilized. When you are putting your team in a position to win a championship year after year, you must be doing something besides telling your talent to "just go out and win it for the gipper".

Show me how Phil Jackson has won without Jordan or Shaq???
Pop is a disciplinarian and would be great, but he's not done with the Spurs.
