No Ryan Bowen had nothing to do with it while he put a hand on his back
Mysterious.

1. Devin tripped on his own.
2. He should have let them come to him instead of trying to make something happen.
3. While we're on the subject of I'd like to know, why don't our defensive geniuses on staff think about trapping Tmac and getting the ball out of his fucking hands coming down the stretch?

Pop didn't put the key players at the end of the game...

Yes, once again, pop's fault
Death taxes Loss = Pop's fault.

I'd like to know how Devin Brown can go from having the best game of his life to being the biggest bone-head in the league. What was he trying to do? Pop should of had him pass it in to Barry.

Fuck Tpark.
You trap Tmac on those possessions and make him give it up. Hmm, Bob Sura shooting airballs, or Tmac not even hitting the net when the shot falls.
Jesus Christ man, Pop fucks up once in a while.
At the other end, you put the ball in the hands of your vets. I.E., Barry or Manu. Barry was passing it in, and Manu was the completely opposite side of the court. A near rookie in the NBA is not going to get a marginal call at the end of the game.

For all of the ragging on Barry, he saved our ass vs. Detroit the other night.

Barry was passing it in,
ok let Rose bring it in, and have Barry swarm to the ball.
Heaven knows, Barry was on FIRE tonight.
Yeah, and you know Sura wouldve Fired upa three??
I love how you just cant fuckin WAIT to second guess the coahc, its like your ont eh edge of your seat during losses writing down what he did wrong.
Wins??:?
Eh we did good, good to see Brown have a good game,
but losses/??
Our defensive rotations pop pop pop pop pop
Alot of people agree,
tonigh is a fluke, when youve got a hand in the face of a guy like that, and he makes it??
WTF do you do???
and htey did trap him on the inbounds of that next to last play, he just miraculously got hte ball.
But, thats pop's fault too.

Hey dickhead, go look who iced the Detroit game when the Spurs tried to choke Friday night, and get back to me.
and htey did trap him on the inbounds of that next to last play, he just miraculously got hte ball.
Yeah, and after he got the ball, we had the second guy run off to guard someone else, essentially leaving TMac being guarded man to man. A double team at midcourt for one second is not the double team I am talking about.

You don't let the guy who had scored 10 points in 20 seconds beat you. Duh.

He goes to guard an unguarded man.
My god the absolute lunacy.

Lots of mistakes down the strech for the Spurs but give it up for McGrady. He made us pay for every little mistake we made.

AGAIN, TMac had 10 points in 30 seconds. Hmm, let red hot Tmac shoot when the only thing that will save the day is threes, or force a 2-10 Maurice Taylor, 0-2 Ryan Bowen, or 2-10 Andre Barrett to shoot. What to do, what to do?
BTW, there's this little thing called a zone, that mitigates the "wide open man." But all Pop runs is man, and you worship his bathwater, so zones are bad.
Hey what, come with more intelligent writing and Ill respond better.
Grow up and learn a vocabulary.
I've got a great vocab, and brought an intelligent take. Problem was nowhere in my vocab or "take" did I say Pop was great tonight and suck his dick, so you don't have to "respond better."

A zone would have been a horrible idea when the only option Houston had was to shoot threes.
This was a collapse by everyone. Even if Pop hurt their feelings, he didn't cause Tim to foul T-Mac orTtony to serve up a inbound French pastry.

A zone? :lol
You know that if you run a zone offense, that forces teams to hit threes ... right? That's the exact opposite of what the Spurs needed.

Yeah I don't know why I put that in there. Carryover from last night's discussion I guess.

I don't know how else to hit the fact that you don't let TMac beat you over TPark's head.

Tonight (vs Houston) was a depressed loss. We should have won this game.
But, while we all talked about who's fault (i.e.: Pop's late-game plan, TP's lazy pass, TD's uneccessary foul on T-Mac, Brown's turnover), we should also give credits to Houston. They (especially T-Mac) capitalized on EVERY of our mistakes that we made late in the game.
But still, we are now 16-5 (which is pretty good). And more importantly, we still have 3 more chances to give our "pay-back" to Houston (they won't be that lucky next time!).

More than the Devin Brown slip-&-fall lost the game. It was a team loss, however, in response to the question of why have Brown get the ball...he is the team's best FT shooter. Better than Barry at this point. Coaches like to give the ball to their best FT shooter in situations like that, plus Devin is very strong.
Devin fell down with no real contact.
