New Wes Anderson movie with Owen Wilson, Adrian Brody, and Jason Schwartzman, first since Life Aquatic, didnt see it posted

I cant wait to see this movie, I love pretty much every thing that Anderson has ever done, and dont expect to feel any differently with this film

Looks great. I'm a geek for Wes Anderson so I have high hopes for this. Although his visual style is starting to get a little played out, mainly due to all the copycats. Hopefully he tries a few new tricks this time around, but classic Wes Anderson is never a bad thing.

Anyone else like The Life Aquatic? I loved that film; sometimes I think I'm the only one though. Bill Murray just gives a great performance.

A very long trailer, but I am really looking forward to this film.

the life aquatic wasn't a bad movie, the script just seemed bleh compared to his others. it definitely had its moments, but is dead last in my personal rankings for him. i expected more.

Life Aquatic had some great moments, but overall I think there were a few too many lulls, and I think Wes Anderson paid a little too much attention to the style of the movie and less on the script. His comedy also gets broader with each film, which is both good and bad. The whole mace spraying scene in the Darjeeling trailer made me roll my eyes a little. But the "how does a train get lost?" was classic Wes Anderson.

Good point, I've never considered that his comedy is becoming a bit more mainstream, less quirky. But I'm curious to see how Adrien Brody is going to mesh with Anderson's material. Of all mainstream actors, Brody is probably the "quirkiest" in terms of his style; could be a match made in cinematic heaven or a complete mismatch.

I enjoy Life Aquatic simply for the end sequence in the submarine, and of course the pirate rescue.
