Exactly. The productive thing to do after a loss is to refocus all your energies on identifying anywhere that you weren't good enough, and working your butts off to improve there.

As far as the Suns are concerned, their team is perfect and they just got shafted. Instead of focusing on improving, that tends to lead to complacency -- if you're just going to get shafted anyway, what's the incentive to get better.

Phoenix needs a good old-fashioned buttkicking this next postseason if they're ever going to start doing what it takes to win a title.

While Phoenix fans have been ridiculous, we should all be sad and pissed off that a ref in a crucial playoff game was corrupt. Even if he was only trying to influence the over/under, Suns fans AND Spurs fans should be upset about this. Since the Spurs won the series 4-2, and Phoenix shot more free throws than S.A. in the series, I think it is safe to say t he Spurs were the better team. But no one wants it to be this way, where an official in a crucial game was calling fouls with the intent to influence the game in some way.

everytime i see timmy at the line I settle back all relaxed in my chair and casually sip my beer, grinning the sheer grin of uber happiness. Thinking 'oh yeah baby, we gots this one in the bag!' especially in home games during the regular season.
