I tell ya. This is our year. Wade holds that trophy up again as he will be unstoppable this year. Shaq will be in shape as well. This team is scary.

The Heat's off season has been horrible. Chauncey has been owned by J. Williams and Daniel freaking Gibson the past 2 years though in elimination games.

Jason Williams is better than Smush Parker anyways...and with Parker's attitude problem he won't want to come off the bench.

Yeah but methinks Riley's gonna limit Jason's minutes until the postseason so he's gonna be healthy. Smush is gonna be a regular starter.

First of all there are tons of point guards better than smush so that isnt saying much especially since jason williams is old and has bee injured the last couple of years so smush could end up being the starter there. Anyway this if off topic but it doesnt matter because the topic is about smush, i was wondering if anyone had that thread of the guy who had that terrible spelling problem and had just joined the forum trying to act gangsta? It was in this NBA section i believe... but i cant find it. I think he was a heat or pistons fan but im not sure, he was talking about how he dropped out of school and wasnt rich but it was funny as hell.

I think I know who you're talking about. Cartier something, I think. He was supposedly a Pistons fan, sad to say. We all jumped on his case most of the time though. Is that the guy you meant?

C'mon people smush is a good on the ball defender, and a decent scorer. He has experience as starter. He just played on a team with a guy who took looooots of shots every day.In miami he can flourish.Im not saying its our best move ever but he aint bad!!!
yea .. to be honest I think if he can get control of his emotions this could be a solid pickup for Miami.

Are you serious? Smush is a good on the ball defender? Since when? When did this happen and why wasnt I informed. Let's be quite honest I dont think Smush could have started on any other team other than the Lakers. It's pretty funny that Phil Jackson benched his ass and started a Rookie, we all know how Phil feels about Rookies as well. I highly doubt he will flourish in Miami, best of luck to him, but i dont see him sticking around for many more years to come.

but he did start.he did aquire experience as a starter.Pat constant changing rotation will allow him to go through more deiverse situations, rather than the "sit back and watch the man score 80" he had in LA

So Smush is going to start on the Heat....
Sure he is....I heard that he's already taking pot shots at Kobe...funny thing, I'm glad he's gone, a lot of talent for sure, but he feels like he's the first and second option.

I'd laugh, but I also laughed when they signed Payton and Walker and look what happened. I don't want to be karmicly responsible for Shaq getting another ring.
I wish Smush the best of luck in all his future endeavors.

If shaq, smush and Co.get a ring in 2008 that makes 2 former lakers getting rings with the heat.Id kill myself if i'd be a laker fan in 2008:lol

Do it anyway. The Heat are not winning a championship again for a long, long time.
