I realized that Manu Ginobili... the heart of the team is what most of the times kept me wanting to watch a game, to see what crazy shit he was gonna pull up...
i.e.

these past regular seasons we haven't really seen crazy layup Manu, or dunking Manu as much as the other seasons... don't get me wrong I don't get bored of winning..and im not saying the Spurs are boring.. but..do you think that Pop cutting minutes affects Manu as well as other Spurs as far as how much they give on the court during the regular season and playoffs?

I know it's affecting me as a fan because I want to see a more outgoing Manu on the court as well as more minutes.. :hungry:

but thats just me being selfish.

or could it be that Manu's just older and he's over the crazy layups?or is it Tony's time? or is it the hair?

His body is getting old. Guys who play like him, and get hit as much as he does, wear down more quickly. Think of the way MJ changed his game in the second 3-peat. Sad fact of life, Manu is getting older... :depressed

Having said that, he still has a knack for the incredible, and his passing keeps getting better and better. He is such a smart balla that he will modify his game over time and try to get 3-4 more years of play at a high level from his body. Fewer dunks for us, but a smart strategy.

true..... it happens with age..... but it seemed so sudden... from one season to another...

idk it seemed weird to me.

He looked horrible in the playoffs this year until the middle of the Suns series, then he came alive. He still made some incredible plays, just not so many were dunks. Remember the way he and Tony passed in some of those games?

Selfishly, I hope he doesn't play te Olympics so he can give his legs a rest, but it's his career and I love and appreciate him either way. He is my favourite guard of all time. Would love to buy him a drink one day and thank him for the spice he's added to all our basketball lives.

I'm telling you right now it's the hair. When that mop comes back so will the crazy dunks.

I remember that one lob pass he got from Tony during the playoffs, that the degree of difficulty to control it was off the charts, but he still softly guided it in.

Shaq, Malone (and D. George or D. Fisher) stand to watch Manu Ginobili redefine ShowTime.

I think that is Devin George or Derek Fisher, not Kobe.

No.... I realized that maybe Pop's the one to blame for him not being as outgoing as he used to be on the floor...

his 3 ball is dope tho and only gives him his needed space since he is losing speed and a step. but he plays with so much adrenaline that I don't think it sometimes matters in the playoffs to be a factor.

Long haired Manu needs to make his return if we want to repeat.

Its actually a very interesting story behind the fifth shot he made in that video ( the pass to the right corner where he made that buzzer 3 ). It was like 8 or 7 years ago or so and he played in Kinder against my team Olimpija and we almost made an upset to get to final four in Euroleague, had he not made that shot.
Man i hated him at that time.
I believe 1 or 2 players at that time in Kinder were worth more than whole Olimpija team together.

Manu has made more jaw-dropping 3's than crazy dunks or layups. He still has it. It's just that he has adjusted his game with his age. He does what the team needs.

Hahahah I'm 2 for 2 today, I guessed 'The Red Hoods' name correctly as well.

Yeah they butchered it with that horrible voice acting, but it's incredibly funny.
