Does anyone know if the $100K the Spurs paid to terminate James White's contract count towards the Luxurty Tax?

The $100K was paid to get him off the roster, so that when the lux tax is assessed (after trade deadline) he won't count against it.

Spurs haven't paid $100K to waive white, his contract was fully non guaranteed when they have waived him. Spurs have spend $0 to waive White.

If White contract was fully or partially guaranteed, the guaranteed part would have count against the luxury tax.
