View Full Version : San Antonio Neighborhoods ... I need photos

For a writing project, I need a lot of pictures of San Antonio neighborhoods. Particularly houses, but also maybe popular restaurants, parks, shopping centers, bars, whatever.

If you guys have any high resolution pictures of houses, etc. in your neighborhood that you'd be willing to give me, I'd appreciate the input.

I need every part of town. I have a lot of NW side, Medical Center area, Hill Country Village, Downtown.

Things I need particularly are Stone Oak area, Southside, Northeast side. But I'll take just about anything.

I know you guys are going to ruin this thread and post a lot of crap, but I really just need you help. So please send contributions to [email protected]. I will attribute the photos under your name if/when they are published.

Kori -

Do you have any pics of the missions?
Or better yet, do you have a link that lists/shows what you already have so we don't duplicate efforts?

I have pictures of the Missions that were provided by the Convention Bureau.

I need moreso homes and neighborhood stuff, rather than landmarks and tourist attractions.

Like if anyone has pictures of the outside of the type of houses in their neighborhood (even your own house). That's what I need.

Kori, I would try to take some pictures but my camera is being used until Monday (and has been in use since this past Monday). Although once I get it I can try to take some pictures of whatever neighborhood you need.

Also, a friend of mine took some really good pictures of Monte Vista. If you need those I can give you a link to them.

I can send you some of my neighborhood, where a good number of my neighbors sport some variation of a "Ryland Sucks" sign in their windows. Or of some people picketing in front of the model homes. :spin


There are some "National Night Out" activities planned for tomorrow ... that ought to be interesting.

Cool. Dean and I had every intention of driving around the subdivision this weekend and snapping pics, but other things came up.

We'll see what we can do this week.
