some big dark ones that cover my whole eye/face area and grip real tight to my head and are therefore perfect for both driving and spending all day at a waterpark or tubing in the river... and only cost me like $12 at target or walgreens or one of those places.

I am gonna be serious here...one of the best pairs of sunglasses ever owned by me were purchased in the Wal-Mart fishing section for 10 bucks.

I've worn Nike Killer Loop or RayBan for the last 10 years. But my mine just broke about 2 weeks ago so I'm shopping for some now. I do better with expensive ones because I tend to keep track of them. In 10 years I've gone through 3 pair of glasses and that was only because broke after so much use.

Blublockers are great for driving, Dior glossies and Yves San Laurent (both on clearance, of course, lol) for fashion.

I have a pair of Maui Jim Sports for driving/non-athletic activity (funny, I got sport glasses only because they're lightweight) and I wear a pair of Oakley Fives 2.0 when playing sports or out on the water ... I don't feel bad losing a pair of $55 glasses.

A pair of Zegnas for business, some old-school aviators for everyday.

Whatever I can find for less than $15 and look good on me.

I am notorious for losing sunglasses. I've had the pair I have now since March...a record for me!

Cheap wal mart sunglasses. Whichever ones look the best on me. I have 3 kids now. I'm done spending more than $20.00 on sunglasses. Besides, everytime I've ever owned an expensive pair of shades, they've ended up lost, stolen, or damaged. I feel better losing a $12.99 pair of sunglasses as opposed to losing a $150.00 pair.

Does anyone have any suggestions on which styles work well with long eyelashes? That's why I've always stayed w/Nike Killer Loop. Most sunglasses bug me because they hit my eyelashes.

seriously though, i used to buy expensive glasses, but i would always ALWAYS break them or loose them...

My favorite pair was "dragons" i bought back in college when i used to surf...there was nothing outstanding look wise...just some blackframe plastic glasses, but they were touted as unbreakable, and they were pretty damn close...i could bend them, etc...wouldnt break.

I went to scotland in 98 and went camping...it got cold over night, they were in my pack...and i pulled them out in the morning, in two pieces.

Good thing is they had a life time warranty, send the broken back in, they send you a new pair! then of course i lost them.

I stick to whatever is cheapest at wallmart now.

i think i may buy me some new dragons. Such a kick ass pair of glasses. Fit well, and i loved the lifetime warranty.

I have never bought 'expensive' sunglasses. I didn't see a reason too when a $15-$20 pair will do.
But the ones I have now I got free through my insurance..can't beat that!

I'm blind as a bat, so mine are prescription which vastly reduces the range available.

I'm seriously considering going back to my ol' skool roots and getting some new lenses for my Ray Ban Wayfarers...
