Based on the baseball sets (and baseball teams have roughly twice as many roster spots), "Baltic" and "Mediterranean" Avenues are probably guys that never even suited up for the Spurs last year. The purple and gray properties are always temporary call ups, injured players, spot starters, etc. in the World Series sets.

I did a statistical analysis of monopoly once, and, due to all the ways you can go to jail, the orange spaces turn out to be the most valuable (most expected return for the price, due to being more likely to be landed on). So, assuming that The Coyote and Silver Dancers are equivalent to Chance and Community Chest in a regular monopoly game, the most valuable players to buy here are Robert Horry, Steve Kerr, and Malik Rose.

Then come the reds (same reason, but a little more expensive, and a little less likely to be hit coming out of jail.) and the light blues (they are inexpensive, so return on investment is high, and you are likely to hit them because of things that send you to GO). ...Which means that, horribly, Beno Udrih is one of the more valuable spaces on the board. They should have made him a purple.

I'm pissed at their ordering. Yes, the orange and reds are the best spots on the board, as someone mentioned above (that's from years of play, rather than statistical analysis - the person who wins always owns at least one of those sets). And Beno is fucking worthless, he should NOT be next to Brent Barry and Fabricio Oberto. And I gotta rank D-Rob higher than Marvin Gardens. Also higher than Bruce Bowen, Pop, Manu and Tony. D-Rob should have been Park Place, man.

Other that that, I totally love it. And I love everyone in this thread for the contributions on Chance and Community Chest cards.
