I personally use Pantene-ProV Shampoo+Conditioner in 1. That way I don't have to scrub my hair twice.

People that can buy a $100 bottle of shampoo for $50. Although the price must have gone down a lot since the last time I've bought it ... it looks like I can actually buy it from a regular online store I know nothing about! I've done it for a few years and the bottles have still been sealed, so I'm pretty sure there was no cow piss involved. When you have long hair, even if it's all one length (no layers or any of that) it still costs up to 5 times more to get a trim than a man.

All those great highlites on all those hot woman you guys all like to look at cost, on the average, of about $100-$200. $100.00 shampoo should be no big surprise. And to clarify, the bottle that I buy usually lasts me about a year...it's a big-assin' bottle. :spin

Apparently if you included me in that scenario it was a personal attack against her. Be nice, now. :spin

Infusium is very good, and Amplify has a really good one. Bonus, they are both under $12.00 and you can get them at the drug/grocery store! :lol

Herbal Essence also has a once-a-week, deep conditioner that works really well and smells wonderful...you can try that without breaking the bank, too. :)

That's the one ... I just *nutted* up and did my own color a couple of weeks ago (and yeah, I was scared) and got that. Oh man, that stuff smells way too damn good.

Every now and then, I convince myself that I should try some different brands/colors for a little variety, but I always come back to Herbal Essences Plush Plum. It's just the greatest stuff ever.

After my first time, I'm not so scared anymore ... it turned out a lot better than I thought it would. I was afraid all the absorbtion from the existing highlites might make it turn black ... I guess the products are a lot better than they used to be...I'll definitely do it again. It was nice not to fork over the $120+tip. And have even more products pushed on me.

That's what I use! Its the blue bottle that supposed to be a leave in conditioner for hair strengthening. And it smells like coconut and other yummy things!!!

And it's really cheap if you buy it at Target! Like $3 or $4 bucks!

I really don't see anything wrong with spending $100 on shampoo or $1,000 or even $3,000 on a LV or Gucci purse. My wife makes good money and when she gets a bonus she typically goes and buys a purse or some piece of jewelry. With her last bonus she went and bought some sunglasses at Nordstrom for about $200 or $300 and then she went and bought the Louis Vuitton Speedy 35 handbag for about $650. I don't depend on her money to pay the bills...so I don't mind what she does.

I'm personally a pretty cheap person.....but she has steadily got me to dress nicer and actually go to a hair stylist instead of a barber.

I wasn't speaking of the other threads, I was talking about this thread and specifically what I quoted. I never said you were attacking anyone either, you just kind of set yourself up to be attacked when you finish your tirade with "bite me".
SW has been ending posts with that phrase for years. Why has hit suddenly become an invitation for a personal insult rather than a joke. She can take a joke probably better than most anyone in here and fire one back at you that's twice as funny. She's quick witted and smart as hell but that doesn't give anyone the right to bash her personally. Especially over a remark that was obviously just an off handed joke. Oh yeah...bite me. :lol
