(December 10, 2004) -- The Toronto Raptors announced Friday they have placed forward Pape Sow on the active roster and guard/forward Vince Carter on the injured list with a mild strained left Achilles tendon.
Sow was placed on the injured list November 27 with left knee bursitis. He missed eight games with the injury. Sow has totalled four points, eight rebounds and 29 minutes in four games this season.
Carter has appeared in 20 games this season, averaging 15.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 30.4 minutes. He left the game at the 11:19 mark of the third quarter during Wednesday game at Detroit due to the injury. Carter is eligible to return to the active roster for the Monday, December 20 contest at Houston.
