on the Spurs.com site in the video section there's some summer league highlights, and very early in one of them is an awesome two-handed dunk by Viktor Sanikidze.

I agree, we have never had a great dunker on our team. I mean Caddilac Anderson and Dominique Wilkins were great dunkers in the 80's, but besides them we have never had a legit dunker. Sure Derek Anderson had a dunk over Vin Baker and Shawn Bradley here and there, but I want Desmond Mason or a dunker like J-Rich on our team. Then again if we keep on winning champonships I dont care

I really, really wish the Spurs would sign Shawn Kemp. Not for his pseudo-dunking ability (not even sure he can anymore). But just because of the hilarity that would ensue in here.

Old school Spurs fans may well remember the legend of Henry Ward.

A 6'4" G/F who played back in the Iceman's heyday. He had some of the best hops in club history. Only problem was he a raw, unpolished basketball player. Couldn't shoot very well. All he could do was dunk.

However, the pregame warmups were his exhibition. His warmup dunks became the stuff of legend. So much so that folks used to get to the games early just to see this kid show his stuff. He was quite impressive. His was our early version of the human victory cigar. Fans around the Hemisphere Arena would clamor repeatedly for coaches to put Henry in during blowout victories.

Easily one of the best dunkers in team history.

Watch this badass NEW highlight reel and tell me we need more dunkers... you obviously don't watch the spurs. If anything and coach pop will tell you the same, we need more defense.

The Spurs are a team for old arthritic players. They should sign Kadour Ziani.

We have a dunk champion......Brent Barry.

That's the only one that Pop wants right now. Somehow I don't think he gets into the dunk game.

Yes, I am a blind Robinson homer, but the Admiral's trademark windmill prior to his back injury was always my favorite bigman dunk.

His signature two-handed, power dunk was my favorite.

:lol at "ATL" for Georgia, timvp.

Take this thread for what it's worth. Not much. It is a cool pic of Ian Mahinmi, though.
