It was interesting. Didnt come off as an arrogant schmuck. Just a guy who was truly concerned with the direction of the country.

Some may call him a quitter. But he didnt look young, so I call him retired.

Maybe, if the atmosphere in this country hasnt changed when I am 40+, I will retire too.

I liked his "greatest country in the world" argument.

Good for him.

Now, let's the rest of us grownups get back to work; the population of this (somewhat less than greatest country on earth, apparently) isn't going to feed itself, or cure its ills, or help any other country do the same by getting back to nature or our roots or whatever it is this guy is espousing.

(I am pissed as hell I'm not as free as my great great grandparents, however)

Oh, Gee!!

When I get tired of this country I'm going to buy a nice boat and sail around the world. I'll dock for a few weeks here and there but spend most of my time at sea writing a novel.

the population of this (somewhat less than greatest country on earth, apparently) isn't going to feed itself,

Well, not anymore, since 90% of the country is now dependent on pre-made meals.

He was interesting up until the "philosophy" argument.
